Libya

The conflict in Libya has been all over the news with the what looks like the fall of Gaddafi's regime. One image that stood out for me was the statue of the golden hand crushing a American plane in Tripoli with rebels around it. So thought I'd have a little play with the imagery and this is the outcome.

A4E Blueprint Magazine - 'A New Dawn'

Hello all, just received a copy of the page layout with the illustration I produced for A4E Blueprint Magazine a few weeks ago. It was for a piece on how the recent election will effect A4E getting people back into work. (The image is over a double page spread with a spot taken from the main image.)

Climbing The Ladder

Thought I'd give myself a bit of a bank holiday kick and set a 3 hour deadline to get this illustration done (from concept to completion). Have to admit it felt a little rushed so is a little sketchy in places... anyhow it's based on a article I read the other day about class and prejudice in the climbing of the social ladder.

Think I've earnt that beer now, happy holidays!

Power In Numbers

Editorial - An equation that was created by a genius called Mr Li to assess risk better than before but was unfortunately hijacked and used in mass by the bankers, problem was it is easy to use but hard to fully understand the results... hence Wall St. crashing and this little series of numbers affecting billions around the globe.
Power In Numbers.

Spend today worry tomorrow.

Don't know about anyone else but now Labour have cut VAT by 2.5% I'm going to go out and spend £800 on a 50 inch TV I don't really need cos at a saving of £20 how can you say no?
But at least I'll sleep well knowing I've helped the economy which will obviously no doubt be reciprocated in a year or so when I'm struggling.

Plus with that extra £20 quid I'll nip out and buy a new jumper, that way I'll not have to use the central heating...

Labouring Badly

Two variations on the same theme, Labour's sinking whilst the Tories role in after another humiliation in the Henley byelection for Brown's boys.
