Here's a editorial piece I've just finished - supposedly 'If you love coffee and drink more than 100 cups in 4 hours you'll probably die.'Hmm... even though the 'probably' is slightly vague, if you ever feel the need to try I would still recommend stopping at the 100 mark.
Luckily I drank no coffee in the making of this illustration, just a bottle of wine so I'll be fine.
Another Website that's worth a bit of a browse is UKADAPTA's blog, again lots of work to peruse (for the Japanese and english speaking amongst us), it's currently featuring 5 of my illustrations, hooray!

Don't know about anyone else but now Labour have cut VAT by 2.5% I'm going to go out and spend £800 on a 50 inch TV I don't really need cos at a saving of £20 how can you say no? But at least I'll sleep well knowing I've helped the economy which will obviously no doubt be reciprocated in a year or so when I'm struggling. Plus with that extra £20 quid I'll nip out and buy a new jumper, that way I'll not have to use the central heating...
Just to let you all know that I'm now a member of Hai! (Hire An Illustrator). So if you fancy seeing my work in a different environment and lots of other talented illustrators follow the link above.

All the press were writing that Massa had to perform this weekend otherwise his seat would be under serious threat, well, he answered them with one of his 3 a year barnstormers and left the others in his wake even including his team mate. Kimi struggled all weekend but a solid performance to take 2nd meant that he climbed to the top of the championship leaderboard - which is quite ominous considering where he he was last year at this stage.. Kubica took a surprised and deserved pole and 3rd in the menacing BMW that could very take the title challenge to Ferrari and push Mclaren back a step or two as they struggle to put everything together. 3 week break and back to Barcelona where you really start to find out who's quickest...

A Homage to the thing of beauty that is the Polaroid. Now that the film is no longer being made, we may sadly be seeing the last of of it's brilliance.. all hail the Polaroid!
Image done for IllustrationFriday.com on the brief of 'Homage'
The inevitable Ferrari comeback was on the cards at Sepang and they didn't disappoint, Raikkonen showed the dominance that could very well take him to a second title, whereas Massa just didn't. Hamilton came away still leading the championship but it's setting up to be a tough duel to the death.
With a two week gap till the next race I will try to get some other illustrations up for the not so F1 minded...
As the new season has begun, so has my illustrated documentation of it, each Grand Prix will have an illustration done for it with the creation of a book at the end in October, which will be available to buy. As races go last Sundays was a great way to start the season, Ferrari looked a little lost, only seven cars actually finished and Lewis brought home a new guard to the podium, roll on Sepang!
An Image that I'm currently working on, needs a little more work again F1 related this time looking at the banning of Traction control for this season and the heightened driver skill now needing to shown.
A little preview of my entry for the Amelia's Magazine Illustration competition, the set idea was 'A Utopian view of the future', more to come, watch this space...
