With things being a little frantic the last couple weeks I've been a little tardy getting this on the blog but here it is...  The AOI's Images 36 book!

I've had work selected for the last 3 years and it always an honour to be in something that I used to study as a bright eyed illustration student all those years back!

Illustration is certainly strong from the look of it at the moment so if you can get hold of a copy do because you won't be disappointed! 

Images 36 is available from the The Association Of Illustrators.

CNBC Magazine - 'Smart Phone?'

With this illustration comes the sad news that CNBC Magazine will be no more.
I've had great fun illustrating for them and the guys over at Ink Publishing over the past year so wish them all well in future endeavours.
This editors letter illustration is all based around the Apple/Samsung smart phone lawsuit.

It's time to hit the skies again for APEX Magazine! This months illustrations are all about the debate of one huge airport Vs various smaller ones. Which is better? The consensus is that it's probably better to have an 'Aerotroplolis' but there are significant advantages to having airports closer and on different sides of a city, hmmm...

But while your considering that here's my double page spread above and accompanying illustrations below!

London 2012

So as the dust is settling on the Olympics, which far exceeded expectations in every way here's my reworking of a previous illustration to celebrate the fantastic achievements of Team GB!

Feels a little strange it's all over to be honest, what the hell do we watch on TV now!

HSJ Magazine - 'Superdoc'

 Medic to Manager -  Illustration for HSJ Magazine on how the gap between clinical leaders and management must be closed to meet the service's challenges. 
Really fun image to create and allowed me to indulge in a little comic book styling, all hail 'Superdoc'! 

LGC - 'Social Care' Cover Illustration

Cover illustration for LGC magazine! Very happy to be able to show you all my image adorning the front cover, the theme was social care being put out to pasture.

CNBC Magazine - 'Olympic Flame'

This months Editors letter illustration for good folks at CNBC Magazine was a timely piece on the upcoming Olympics. They claim to be the greenest in history but is that truly the case?

B.Spirit Magazine - 'Privately Educating Africa'

As the British summertime is being well... typically British, here's a set of images that will brighten your spirits!

This set of images were created for B.Spirit magazine on the topic of an ever increasing trend in Africa of children enrolling into private schools. Parents are willing to work hard and make sacrifices to help their children gain a decent education. This highlights the gaps in state education but  sadly gives the government even less incentive to repair the cracks within it.

A personal highlight of the image are the flowers made up of open books but I'm sure the eagle eyed of you already noticed them!

APEX Magazine - 'Bulking Up'

Ta Da! For your delectation a recently completed set of illustrations for APEX Magazine.

The article is all about overhead luggage space on airlines and how luggage charges are making companies rethink plane design to ensure customer satisfaction.

PC Pro - 'Avoiding The Snoops'

In this months PC Pro magazine you'll find this illustration of mine adorning it's lovely pages.

It's all about avoiding the snoops that try to monitor what your up to online.

CNBC Magazine - 'Home Fires'

June's illustration for the Editor's Letter page of CNBC Magazine.

The article talks about the the UK's 'Silicon Roundabout' located at Old Street, London.

It further discusses the lack of government support these companies receive, often pushing them to register in 'tech friendly' countries.

TS Today - 'Red Tape'

 My latest cover illustration for the good folks at TS Today on the vast amounts of rules and regulations in the Trading Standards industry.

  Illustration for CNBC's editors letter on the emergence of a new technology bubble to rival the dotcom boom. The resulting fast/massive growth of Apple could leave it susceptible to the city and the media.

CNBC Magazine - 'Credit Raters'

Half page illustration on the new Chinese credit rater that is challenging the dominance of it's Western counterparts.

Illustration for the Editors letter page. 

New Italian prime minister 'Monti' tries to gloss over the country's financial cracks in order to instil the possibility of growth.

APEX Magazine - 'Apps'

Double page and accompanying illustrations for the latest APEX Magazine on how smart phones are revolutionising our lives.

HR Magazine - '2012 Olympics'

 Excitement is building as we close in on the Olympics so it's apt that I've just finished these illustrations.
Cover and six A6 illustrations for HR Magazine on the human resource issues surrounding businesses and the games.

TS Today - 'Lapland'

Ok so I know this is a little late and a touch out of season... But I've only just got a copy of the Christmas TS Today and adorning it's cover is my illustration. Looks good even in March I reckon!

Radio Times - 'An American Rose'

 My latest illustration for the Radio Times is for the play preview of An American Rose.

The play is about the true story of Rosemary Kennedy, sister of President JFK. Whose behaviour lead the family into making her endure a (failed) lobotomy at 23 and resulting in her spending the rest of her days in care!
